Fabian Society Annual Conference 2017

I've been photographing the annual Fabian Conference for several years now, and I'm always delighted to cover an event so buzzing with political engagement, and lively debate. This year the venue was a new one, Friends House near Euston Station, and the keynote speech was once again the leader of the Labour party Jeremy Corby. With stimulating debate both in the main conference room, and at many plenary sessions thought this excellent venue, there was plenty to keep the conscientious liberal busy and happy throughout the day . .

European Software Testing Awards

Software testing isn't usually glamorous, unless you are attending the European Software Testing awards that is. With almost all of the glitz and glamour of a Hollywood awards ceremony, this is a terrifically enjoyable night, and I greatly enjoyed covering it.

The City UK Annual Dinner 2016

Every year The City UK holds it's annual dinner at Mansion House, and it's everything that you would expect from such a luxurious city venue. Keynote speaker this year was Secretary of State for Transport Chris Grayling. As you can see from the photos, it was a spectacular dinner.

Glastonbury 2014

Glastonbury was, as usual, a very busy weekend, but I managed to get a little photography done  here and there.  Below is a selection from a few acts that really impressed me., Cate le Bon, Duologue, and finally St. Vincent.

I've been busy photographing a number of special events this year, including the Fabian Annual Conference and Summer Gala dinner and a number of Corporate Photography commissions, including a visit to the Stock Exchange, and a conference and dinner for the Employee Ownership Association.  I've posted a selection of the images from some of these below.

Glastonbury 2013

I try to always go to Glastonbury.  As a place to escape the modern world, there is little to match it, and of course there is so much great music to enjoy, and many other pleasures to be had over this long weekend.  Plenty of music photography will follow, but here is the first election, which shows Green Fields activity and the run-up to the first night at the Stone Circle, a traditional, and noisy start to each year's festival.  I'll be posting a new blog every few days until I've gone through all the photos.
